The Sun Dynasty is a Chinese family who gained prominence during Chinese Revolution era in 1911, mostly addressed as the walls behind 蔣宋孔陳四大家族 (Four Big Families of Republic of China) responsible for much of China's management of finance, politics, economy, and law.

The progenitor of the Sun dynasty was Sun Yat Sen (12 November 1866 – 12 March 1925) a Chinese philosopher, physician, and politician, who served as the first president of the Republic of China and the first leader of the Kuomintang (Nationalist Party of China). He is referred as the "Father of the Nation" in the Republic of China due to his instrumental role in the overthrow of the Qing dynasty during the Xinhai Revolution. He's also widely revered in both mainland China and Taiwan.
His descendants were known as a notable politician and diplomats in China.
Diverted ways from the progenitors, his great-grandson L. Sun entered the business of entertainment in United States but didn't succeed, as the result his family drift their way to Hong Kong and began to rebuild the prominence in economy business with Golden Sun Holdings. Beginning the era of tyrant capitalist of China.
The Sun Dynasty, under L. Sun lived in Kowloon, Hong Kong until 1969, the family built a mansion in Los Angeles, California. Shortly before his retirement in 1990, L. Sun donated US $1 million for the establishment of The Sun Foundation. He left the majority of his enormous fortune to his eldest son, Heinrich Sun. Heinrich, who outlived his father. He increased the profitability of his father's holdings, doubled the Sun wealth with the high-on-demand property company Sun Realty LLC along with the security and technology Sun Guard & Tech. Ltd.
In January 2019, Heinrich announced his eldest daughter Helene Sun as the next "Head of the House".
